Let's Flip PD for Technology Integration


Here is a sample schedule from Barry Wiginton (UNA ATiM Specialist) with some adaptation:

Pre-Planning:  Face to Face or webinar with key leaders on goals and involvement
Survey- ATiM Specialist develops needs-assessment survey based on planning for school to administer to faculty.  This will help determine topics and tools

Meeting One: Introduction to Managing a Blended Learning Environment using Learner-centered strategies
Who- Key leaders including principal/assistant principal if implementation is important led by ATiM Specialist
What- two hours minimum face to face meeting 


Meeting Two: Leaders turn around shortened version of meeting one and show how to access Google Classroom and videos outlining expections
Who- Key leaders and faculty--- video of ATiM specialist explaining his/her role in the process
All schools at faculty meeting or planning time meeting very soon after meeting one.

** Online Q & A available through Google Classroom and ATiM Specialist available to assist as needed  asynchronously.

Video Tutorial:  Topic Plickers & Poll Everywhere

Meeting Three: Teachers wanting to receive CEU credits will implement the use of Plickers and PollEverywhere with their students. Lead Teachers will host during Instructional Rounds. Proof of implementation will be photo or short video by key leader uploaded to Google Classroom.  Teacher will provide follow-up feedback to ATiM Specialist after lesson through survey or video tool like Recap.
